A blog reader just sent me this link to tell me that my Webinar,
MindManager as a Knowledge Management Tool: How I use MindManager and Lotus Notes to get things done, is now up for replay on the MindJet web site. Apparently, they (Mindjet/WebEx) ran into some technical difficulties and lost the last 20 minutes of audio.
That's too bad, because we covered some powerful uses of MindManager and Lotus as tools for Personal Knowledge Management. You watch the silent part can make up your own narrative. if you come up with something great, post it to you tube and send me a link!
Judging from my email, there seems to be considerable interest having me do a follow-up webinar; I'll definitely consider that for the future. If you have topics you'd like to see me cover in greater detail, please leave your comments on this
blog post. I'll review these comments as ideas for possible future webinars.
Here's a link to the
webinar replay.
Enjoy!

Great news. I have been really looking forward to watching your presentation since you gave it.
I however do not seem to be able to read the .wrf file on my Mac. I understand it is a Webex recording but how should I go about viewing it?
Many thanks in advance.

I did a quick search this morning and found this link http://www.meetingcenter.net/record_play.htm
I hope this helps.
Warm regards,

I, too, was pleased to finally see the webinar so I could watch it. However, I ran into 2 problems: (1) neither iTunes nor Windows Medial Player could "read/play" the .wrf (it could be that I'm just too technically illiterate to figure it out, though), and (2) when I viewed it "streaming" it abruptly stops after 40 minutes and will go no further. On the other hand, by that time my brain was already on overload with all the excellent data you presented. Makes me wonder if (a) I should look into learning/using Lotus Notes (can you still teach an old dog new tricks?) and (b) makes me think I should go ahead and buy MindManager instead of simply using the trial version. When is the follow up webinar?

Eric:
I emailed you, but I'm not sure if I had the right email.
Would you be willing to share the maps you used in the webinar? Obviously no trade secrets or anything but being able to play with the actual maps would be beneficial.
Thanks!
Kevin

I'll see what I can do, Kevin. The doclinks point to my notes databases so they won't work, of course.

Hi Eric,
there is a MindMapping application that is directly integrated into Lotus Notes, e.g. it stores the map nodes as Lotus Notes document and has some project planning features, too.
The product is called "MindPlan", we use it in our company for our brainstormings and projects.
Maybe this application is interesting for you: { Link }

Thank you Stefan for your timely comment. I already have a long list of mapping/tablet/presentation applications to install and review. I'll contact you by email to discuss your product. I may have some client applications where this could work well. Eric

Eric, I'm a tablet user, a Mind Map uses and a corporate Notes user. I had been working out how best to try and tie them all together and hare come across your sites. Excellent stuff. I wonder whether you can direct me to where the latent of your March Webinar is to be found? Also do you know whether MM can be used on a Blackberry? Many thanks and I look forward to delving into your very relevant content.

Alec, take a look at the MindJet.com web site - they have replays of all of their mind mapping webinars, including the one I did for them. At this time, as far as I know, MindManager is not currently supported on any PDA.

One of the best file centers is Megaupload! For a proper search and downloading use { Link }

Is there any chance this still exists somewhere?
Eric Mack (www.ica.com): 3/8/2010 10:59:40 PM
Not that I am aware of. I think Mindjet took it down after a year. Happy to do another if there's a large enough audience.

Eric,
I'm currently in the beta program for the next version of MindManager.
I came across your webinar from 2007 and thought I'd make the suggestion that another webinar on Lotus Notes / eProductivity / Mindmanager integration would be great to see.
I know you are a busy man. Just thought I'd add my 2 cents.
Eric Mack (www.ica.com): 7/25/2011 3:51:45 PM
Hi Maurice, yes. Unfortunately, Mindjet lost the video from the last web event I did with them. It would be fun to do another webinar on this topic again.
